I’m Stephanie Finucane, an award-winning, resourceful interior designer who believes every home should start and end with your story.    In my experience, most people just need help with what they already have.  They may be baffled by paint color direction, or they might have a room that never feels inviting.    I listen to how you live and what you love, examine what you have, what needs to stay (or go) to transform spaces into your story.   

 

My love of decorating and design came early. Growing up in a military family, moving every few years was a way of life.  It became an exciting challenge to discover a new room and make the most out of it with the  same stuff from my old bedroom.   Years later, under the guidance of Lauri Ward, renowned interior designer and author ("Use What You Have Decorating"), I learned how to apply basic design principles into any space, and received my first certification as an "Interior Redecorator in 2016.   I continue to apply those valuable lessons from Lauri for clients in the Triangle. 

 

 In 2023, I completed the interior design curriculum at New York Institute for Art and Design program, passed the Residential Interior Design Qualification Council exam and became a certified interior designer.
